Barbara Turner was heard to say, when she, Roger and Jill Fraser stood on a knoll in front of a derelict winery and looked at a forlorn 15 acre vineyard they had just bought in 1998. Prophetic words? Nearly there? The sentiment keeps the team focused and motivated.

Father of Roger, Murdoch James Fraser died in 1986 just as the first vines were planted. He loved life and a good drink. He was valued in his hometown, Paeroa for his community service and lovely smile. How fitting it is that his name lives on, on a bottle of premium wine.
