The first wine producer to plant Syrah in Martinborough in the mid 1980’s the Murdoch James brand is well also well known for premium Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Gris, and Sauvignon Blanc. Recognising that it is a combination of providence, history, and being handmade that creates a premium wine brand, The focus for Murdoch James Estate is on quality - and consistency of that quality. With this in mind, Murdoch James Estate builds upon brand awareness by communicating directly with customers in social media platforms, and believes close relationships with distributors are paramount. Owner Roger Fraser states “What is important to any potential distributor is to know that we see the relationship as a partnership. To that end, we recognise the need to invest time, money and personalities in helping our distributors to succeed in the marketplace.
